Retroreflective Photoeyes

Retroreflective photoeyes have both the transmitter and receiver in a single unit.

An infrared beam is aimed at a reflector and bounced back to the receiver. If the light beam is blocked by an obstruction, the transmitter signals to operator controls to stop and/or reverse operation of a gate or door to prevent vehicle damage or personal injury.
